Gluten Free WHOLE GRAIN QUINOA (3 Lbs)

Our Gluten Free White Quinoa Grain is double rinsed, and has a subtle flavor, great protein with lots of vitamins and minerals, and is great for cooking.

 

Substitute Quinoa for an equal amount of white rice in any recipe.  Make Quinoa just like rice.  Boil and mix into Pilafs, make tabboli (tabbouleh) salads,  or eat plain.  Quinoa Grain makes a great hot breakfast cereal, topped with blueberries, maple syrup or flax seeds.

Quinoa Grain: High in Iron, Protein and Fiber

According to Nutrition Data, one cup of cooked quinoa grain has 8g of protein, 5g of dietary fiber, and will provide 15 percent of the recommended daily value of iron based on a 2,000 calorie diet. Quinoa is also high in iron, copper, and phosphorus. 
 

Quinoa is actually a relative of leafy green vegetables like spinach and Swiss chard.
