Teff Flour has a pleasant flavor. The flour is ground from a very small North African cereal grain. Because of this the flour consists of a high percentage of bran and germ. It is a great source of dietary fiber, protein, iron, vitamin C, amino acids and calcium. It will add a lovely brown color to baked goods. Use Big River Grains Gluten Free Teff Flour as a substitute for sorghum or bean flours in gluten-free flour mixes. Use Big River Grains Gluten Free Teff Flour as a substitute for a portion of brown rice or white rice flours in recipes.
